Attention:We have a short best by date or past their best by date for some of our products, ie. those products from Nestle such as Maggi, MILO , etc due to their policy of having a short shelf date for their products which is more commercially motivated than safety & this was further exacerbated by the shipping crisis due to Covid & strike action by Port employees whereby goods transported by sea took more than 5 months to get to us.
MILO contains powdered/dried milk and has been given a short use by date. Most manufacturers recommend using product with powdered milk (also known as dried milk) within 6 to 24 months, but this is really just a "best by" date. That period informs how long the manufacturer guarantees the best quality. It’s not an expiration date. According to the USDA, powdered milk can be stored indefinitely. An unopened package is probably still usable for 2 to 20 years after the printed "best by" date.
